Gas Sample Analysis

SHC is a full service natural gas laboratory providing high quality calorific and individual component analysis of natural gas samples through C6+, including CO2 and N2, utilizing the following industry standards:

• ISO 6568, 6569, 6976
• ASTM D3588, D1945
• GPA 2261, 2172, 2145
• AGA8 (Direct Method)

SHC is capable of reporting sample results via either paper originals, facsimile, and/or via electronic means, including email and ftp upload to a FlowCal database server. SHC also provides sulfur component analyses for these common compounds:

• Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
• Methyl Mercaptan (CH3SH)
• Ethyl Mercaptan (CH3CH2SH)
• Carbonyl Sulfide (COS)
• Carbon Disulfide (CS2)
• Dimethyl Sulfide ((CH3)2s)
